Ellen Cochran, MSN, PMHNP-BC (she/her/hers), is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who enjoys working with patients of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and older adults. Although she loves caring for individuals throughout every stage of life, she specializes in geriatric psychiatry and has completed additional certification and specialized coursework in geriatric mental health.

Ellen is passionate about supporting older adults and their families through the emotional, behavioral, and cognitive changes that may accompany aging, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, dementia, and behavioral concerns. She takes a compassionate, patient-centered approach and collaborates closely with families, caregivers, facility staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.

Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, being outdoors, vacationing, fishing, and spending time on the lake.

Ellen provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and facility education and mental health support. She welcomes patients ages six and older and offers both in-office and telehealth appointments.
