DeAnna Wilde, MSW, LICSW

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Welcome

Taking the first step toward therapy isn’t always easy, and finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as you work toward healing and personal growth. I believe that everyone has the capacity for change, and therapy can provide the tools, insight, and support needed to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I provide individual therapy for adults ages 18 and older, including older adults. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences and am committed to providing an inclusive, affirming environment for all clients, including members of the LGBTQ+ community. I believe every person deserves a space where they can show up authentically, feel accepted without judgment, and explore their experiences with compassion and curiosity.

I have experience helping individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, substance use and alcohol use disorders, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, chronic stress, self-esteem concerns, and difficulties with emotional regulation. Whether you are processing painful experiences from the past, navigating a difficult season of life, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, I strive to meet you where you are while helping you move toward the life you want to create.

No two people have the same story, which is why I believe therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. I take a collaborative, individualized approach, recognizing that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we will identify your strengths, explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, build effective coping strategies, and develop meaningful goals that align with your values and priorities.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Brainspotting, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs. I also incorporate psychoeducation, mindfulness, emotional regulation skills, and practical coping strategies to help clients build confidence and create lasting change.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, I incorporate Polyvagal Theory and nervous system-informed interventions to help clients better understand the connection between their mind, body, and emotions. Together, we explore how the nervous system responds to stress, trauma, and life’s challenges while developing skills to promote regulation, resilience, and a greater sense of safety.

Our work may include grounding techniques, vagus nerve exercises, mindfulness practices, and body awareness skills that help you recognize your body’s signals, understand your emotional responses, and respond to your needs with greater self-compassion rather than self-criticism. I believe healing involves both the mind and the body, and increasing awareness of your nervous system can be a powerful step toward lasting emotional well-being.

For individuals healing from trauma, I offer Brainspotting and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), evidence-based approaches that can help process difficult experiences, reduce emotional distress, and support meaningful recovery. My goal is to help clients move beyond surviving and toward living a life that feels more balanced, connected, and fulfilling.

I also recognize the unique experiences that LGBTQ+ individuals may encounter, including identity exploration, coming out, relationship concerns, minority stress, discrimination, and family or social challenges. I am committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care that honors each person’s identity, lived experience, and goals.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship. My role is not to tell you who you should be, but to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based guidance as you discover your strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship concerns, or simply looking for a place to grow and better understand yourself, I would be honored to be part of your journey.

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Together, we can work toward healing, hope, and creating a life that feels more authentic, connected, and aligned with the person you want to be.
